School is out for the summer at Crest Lane! We are one excited group of people. Our activities for the month of May included a trip to the nursing home, finally.

We are so proud of our five Crest Lane 8th-Grade graduates:  Zachary Barbour, Braeden Enrique, Hannah McGuire, Robert McNeave, and Hakeem Wilson.  On Thursday, May 28, at 7:00 pm, parents, family, and friends celebrated the accomplishments at their graduation.  Hakeem and Zack both received scholarships from HVA for their high marks.

The five eighth-graders, with class sponsors, Carl McNeave, Nancy Thomas, and teacher, Jill Smuda, all headed for the Big Apple for three days of crowds, traffic, and adventure for their much-anticipated Class Trip. Carl was the driver of the 14- passenger bus that was rented from Spencerville Academy. They arrived in New York City early afternoon and, with a quick stop at their apartment to unload, they headed to their first destination: the Empire State Building.
