Crest Lane students presented the annual Christmas program to the Westminster congregation on December 13. Students began the progam with choir music and chimes conducted by Jan Wall followed by a play entitled "The Perfect Fit" by a mix of students from the upper and lower grades. The play was a modern Christmas tale about a family learning the true blessings of giving instead of receiving.

The school has just finished the first quarter of the year already. Our field trip to the corn maize in Pennsylvania saw thrilled children and adults meandering through the rows of corn looking for clues to unlock the secrets about China. Only Wayne and Garrett Short successfully found them all. We also took a trip on a wagon to the orchard so that each student could pick a bag of apples and a pumpkin.
